It was another great weekend camping at the LBJ Grasslands with The Heart of Texas Camping Unit. The weather was a little chilly in the evenings but the campfire was always burning and the heaters were fired up. Several of the members went to the swap meet on Friday and some went to the “junk shops” in town. Friday afternoon we were all invited to view a private car collection owned by a friend of ours. He has a 1927 Hudson House Car that we were especially excited for everyone to see. The Tin Can Tourists club would love to see this! Thanks so much C & V…you’re the best!
Most of the weekend was spent visiting, taking pictures, playing with all the dogs and, of course, looking at Airstreams! There were several there that we had never seen…vintage as well as an outstanding 2010 Classic that I’ll be dreaming about for a long time!
Looking forward to the next outing….till then…..Happy Trails!
