Our Safari may be in a million pieces right now but…she looks good sitting there! We took the wheels to Wise Powdercoating in Chico and had them powder coated black. They did an excellent job, were very reasonable, and fast! The original babymoons were re-chromed, and for tires, we went with a Yokohoma P235/75R15 truck tire. WooHooo…Let’s go!

Looks great! Who did your rechroming, and how much to have them done? Richard

Hey Richard! It was $75 each to have them rechromed. We gave them to Paul and he sent them with a bunch of stuff Janie had chromed for her Flying Cloud so, I don’t know where! Paul does though! Good to hear from you. Tell Shelley Hi!

Hi Debi! Good to hear from you again! That is a 1950 Flxible Sightseer bus we had in our shop for an interior! Pretty cool…huh! There are more pictures on our website at http://www.matneys.com. We have done two of them. The other one is red and is on our website too. Would you believe there is a club for Flxible owners just like Airstreams. I invited them to come camp with the club sometime and they are ready! Hope to see you guys in the fall at a campout!
